FAQ
-
Some of my lash extensions fell out, is this normal?
Did you pick at them? This is the#1 cause of premature shedding. If not, then you should naturally loose 2-5 eyelashes per day-which means each of those natural lashes that shed; also shed with the extension on them. This is one reason you keep up with your 2 week infills. In one week you loose about 21 lashes, by week two you’ve lost around 42.
-
How do I wash my lashes?
You should be using a gentle fragrance free lash shampoo. Obviously, you may not have now and have it on order, so in the meantime Micellar water will do. Remember be gentle.
-
Why do I need a fill every two weeks?
Besides the natural shedding as mentioned earlier, your lashes grow just as the hair on your head. As they grow, they will twist and get heavy causing drooping. I need to remove those during your fill appointment.
-
What happens if I don't pass the written portion of the test??
You are required to retake the topics you had opportunities in, then re-test. This will be an additional $500. This would be a one-on-one session to make this up.
You must score an 80% to successfully pass.
-
Why are my eyes red?
ALOT of clients have fluttering eyes. The one flutter can allow the fumes from the adhesive to enter the eye and it will irritate it causing redness and a burning sensation. The more you talk the more your eyes move. Some flutter without talking, I have seen it all. Visine allergy helps at home rid the redness fast.
-
Do lash extensions damage my natural lashes?
It depends!!! If you pick and pull at them, yes-you’re ripping them out prematurely.
Also, if your natural lashes are sort and brittle, and you want a very heavy dramatic look and your lashes cannot support that, it will cause more damage.
-
Can I get a refund?
Nope! If you were unhappy, you should have spoken before you left. I also have a 24-hour policy if any issues were to arise to have them corrected once during this time frame only. Beyond this, it is normally an aftercare issue, and you will pay full price for the desired service.
-
Can I get a refund on my lash course deposit?
No, deposits are non-refundable and can apply to any dates within 30 days. The deposit will be applied to your course balance.
-
What happens if I fail my written or practicum test in my lash training course?
If you fail either the written or practicum test, you will be required to complete 10 additional hours of training in the area you did not pass. This will come with an additional cost of $500.
